Attractants

The primary attractant for all blood seeking biting insects is Carbon Dioxide (CO²) which we breathe out.

Secondary attractants are Octenol (1-octen-3-ol) and Lactic Acid.

Everybody produces lactic acid in their sweat.

When Octenol & Lactic Acid is combined with Carbon Dioxide the attractant rate is increased dramatically.
